Pro-Action and Action Learning has a strong commitment to youth development. Over the past 22 years we have had over 100,000 participants to our course, 50% of them under the age of 18. The Ropes Course is a breath-taking activity in a beautiful redwood forest near the northern Santa Cruz mountains. Your youth will experience the magic of shared adventures, increased self-confidence, and positive group support. OUR FOUNDER Dr. Reno Taini was recognized as Teacher of The Year in 1982 by the state of California, Practitioner of The Year in 1990 by the Association of Experiential Educators, and featured in numerous magazines and newspapers for his "extraordinary efforts in the field of personal and team development", and for his work with our young people. A motion picture documentary film, "Reno's Kids", has been produced as an expose of his efforts with youth at risk.
